Inspiration comes in interesting places

When I’m thinking about plot and story ideas, I tend to get them in unusual places.  I don’t get them very much in front of my computer.  I’ll occasionally think of something before I go to sleep or while I’m riding the train.  But my best thinking place is private.  I can think without being interrupted.  Yesterday, I had a great idea for my science fiction book that’ll change how I look at the entire world.  It’ll be more exciting with more possibilities.  Where did I get my inspiration?  The shower.
